The India Pavilion, organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), made a strong opening at the 58th Watch & Jewellery Show Middle East (WJSME) 2026, held at Expo Centre Sharjah from 30th September to 4th October. The pavilion brought together 11 Indian exhibitors, presenting a cross-section of India's jewellery manufacturing and design strengths to one of the region's largest trade audiences.
A Platform Spanning India's Full Jewellery Portfolio
The India Pavilion showcased products spanning diamond jewellery, fine gold jewellery, silver jewellery, coloured gemstones, pearls, watches, and display and packaging solutions, reflecting the breadth of India's manufacturing and design capabilities. During a visit to the pavilion, a representative from the Indian diplomatic mission interacted with participating exporters and reviewed the collections on display, appreciating the craftsmanship and design innovation represented and highlighting the importance of exploring emerging markets to strengthen India's global footprint in the gems and jewellery sector.

International participation spans markets including Bahrain, China, Egypt, France, Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Pakistan, Poland, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Türkiye, the UAE, the UK, the US and Yemen
The show continues GJEPC's long-running presence at Sharjah's flagship jewellery exhibition, which has featured dedicated India pavilions for several consecutive editions
The strong opening at WJSME 2026 reinforces India's established position in the Middle East jewellery trade, offering exporters continued access to one of the region's most internationally diverse buyer bases.
