Disclaimer

Last updated: 18 August 2026

Effective date: 10/08/2026  |  Version: 1.0

This Disclaimer applies to the website https://goldjewellers.in/, the GoldJewellers mobile applications and all related services operated by WIZCODER AI LABS PRIVATE LIMITED (“GoldJewellers”, “we”, “us”), together the “Platform”. It forms part of, and should be read with, our https://goldjewellers.in/policies/terms-and-conditions and https://goldjewellers.in/policies/privacy-policy.

GoldJewellers is a directory. We help you find jewellers — we do not sell jewellery, set prices, grade diamonds, certify purity, or stand behind any jeweller's promises. Everything you see about a store or a product comes from that jeweller or from public sources, and must be verified with the jeweller before you buy.

1. Information only — no advice, no offer

All content on the Platform is provided for general information and discovery purposes only. Nothing on the Platform constitutes an offer, an invitation to offer, a quotation, a valuation, a certification, or professional advice of any kind - financial, investment, tax, legal, gemological or appraisal. Do not rely on it as the sole basis of a purchase decision. Consult an independent qualified professional where the amount involved matters to you.

2. We are an intermediary, not a seller

  • We do not own, hold, stock, manufacture, import, sell, deliver, exchange, buy back, repair, appraise, hallmark, certify or insure any jewellery, gold, silver, platinum, diamond, gemstone or other article shown on the Platform.

  • We are not a party to any sale. Every transaction is a direct contract between you and the jeweller, on the jeweller's own terms.

  • We do not collect payment for goods and do not operate an escrow. Never pay anyone claiming to collect money on behalf of GoldJewellers.

  • Listing, ranking, category placement, a badge or a “featured” label is not an endorsement, recommendation, approval, certification or guarantee of a jeweller, their products, their prices, their licences or their conduct.

3. Accuracy of listings and business information

Store names, addresses, PIN codes, map locations, phone and WhatsApp numbers, e-mail addresses, websites, opening hours, categories, photographs and descriptions are supplied by jewellers or compiled from publicly accessible business directories and map services. We do not independently verify them and they may be incomplete, outdated, duplicated or incorrect. Businesses relocate, change numbers, change hours and close down without telling us.

Always call ahead and confirm before travelling to a showroom. We accept no liability for a wasted journey, a closed shop, an unanswered call or an incorrect address.

Some listings are marked unclaimed, meaning the business has not yet verified them with us. Unclaimed listings carry a higher risk of inaccuracy.

4. Prices, gold rates, making charges and taxes

Any price, price range, “starting from” figure, per-gram rate, making charge or discount shown on the Platform is indicative only, supplied by the jeweller, and not a binding quotation. In particular:

  • Gold, silver, platinum and diamond prices fluctuate continuously with bullion markets, exchange rates, import duty and local demand. A figure shown here may be stale by the time you read it.

  • The final amount you pay typically depends on the prevailing metal rate on the date of billing, the actual net weight after finishing, making charges, wastage, stone value, hallmarking charges, and GST and other taxes, which may or may not be included in a displayed figure.

  • A price shown on the Platform does not oblige any jeweller to sell at that price, and the jeweller may revise or withdraw it at any time.

  • Offers, discounts, festival schemes, gold-savings or instalment schemes are entirely the jeweller's own. Their terms, eligibility, tenure, bonus, forfeiture and refund conditions are set by the jeweller and regulated by the law applicable to that jeweller — we neither operate, guarantee nor underwrite any such scheme.

The definitive price is the one on the jeweller's tax invoice. Always insist on one.

5. Purity, weight, hallmarking and HUID

Metal purity (22K, 18K, 14K, 925 silver and so on), gross weight, net weight, stone weight and hallmarking status are declared by the jeweller. We do not assay metal, weigh articles or verify hallmarks.

BIS hallmarking and the HUID (Hallmark Unique Identification) are the responsibility of the jeweller and the BIS-recognised assaying and hallmarking centre concerned. Before you buy, physically verify the BIS mark, the purity grade and the HUID on the article, and check the HUID in the BIS Care app. Insist on an invoice that states net weight, purity, making charges and stone details separately. We are not liable for any under-karatage, weight discrepancy, missing or invalid hallmark, or misdeclared purity.

6. Diamonds, gemstones and certification

This is the area where buyers are most often misled, so please read it carefully.

  • Natural vs lab-grown. Jewellers are required by our https://goldjewellers.in/policies/terms-and-conditions to disclose clearly when a stone is laboratory-grown, and never to present one as natural. We cannot detect or verify origin ourselves. If a listing is ambiguous, assume nothing and ask the jeweller in writing; a natural and a lab-grown stone that look identical can differ enormously in price and resale value.

  • Grading is a third-party opinion. Certificates and grading reports are issued by independent laboratories (such as GIA, IGI, HRD, SGL, GSI or others). We do not issue, endorse, verify or guarantee any certificate. Grading of the 4Cs — carat, colour, clarity, cut — involves expert judgement, and the same stone can be graded differently by different laboratories. Verify a certificate number directly on the issuing laboratory's own website before relying on it.

  • Treatments and enhancements. Stones may be heated, irradiated, fracture-filled, HPHT-processed, laser-drilled, coated, dyed, oiled or otherwise enhanced, and simulants such as cubic zirconia and moissanite exist. Disclosure of any treatment or simulant is the jeweller's obligation.

  • Astrological or healing claims. Any claim that a gemstone brings luck, health, prosperity, protection or any other benefit is a matter of personal belief. It is not endorsed by us and has no scientific or medical basis. Gemstones are not a substitute for medical treatment or professional advice.

  • Origin and ethical sourcing. Claims of ethical, conflict-free or Kimberley-Process-compliant sourcing, or of a particular country of origin, are made by the jeweller. We cannot trace or verify a supply chain.

7. Photographs and product images

Images are representative only. Colour, tone, lustre, finish and scale vary with photography, lighting, retouching, screen calibration and your device's display settings. A stone or article may look larger, smaller, brighter or a different shade in person. Renders, catalogue shots and stock images may be used in place of the actual article. Designs are frequently made to order and may vary between pieces. Inspect the actual article before purchase.

8. Availability

A listing does not mean an article is in stock, currently made, or available in your size, weight or budget. Stock, sizes and designs change constantly and are not synchronised with the Platform in real time.

9. Reviews, ratings and rankings

Reviews and star ratings are the personal opinions of individual users, not statements of fact by us and not verified by us. They reflect one person's experience at one point in time and may be subjective, mistaken, outdated or, despite our moderation, manipulated. Aggregate ratings are computed automatically from whatever reviews exist and may not represent a business fairly.

Search results, category listings and rankings are produced by automated relevance logic considering factors such as location, keyword match, category, completeness of listing, rating and recency, and may also be influenced by paid promotion. Paid or sponsored placements are labelled as such. Ranking is not a merit ranking and should not be read as one.

10. Verification badges

Where a jeweller displays a “verified”, “claimed” or “trusted” indicator, it means only that we received and carried out a basic review of specific documents submitted by that business on a particular date — typically business identity and registration details. It is not an audit, a credit check, a licence verification, a quality certification, a guarantee of authenticity of any product, or an assurance of fair dealing or solvency. Documents can be forged, and circumstances change after verification.

11. Jewellery is not an investment product

Nothing on the Platform is investment advice or a solicitation to invest. Jewellery generally carries making charges, wastage and GST that are not recoverable on resale, and its resale or exchange value is usually well below its purchase price. Metal and stone prices can fall as well as rise. Past price movement does not indicate future movement. Buyback, exchange and upgrade rates are set solely by the individual jeweller and can change or be withdrawn. Any decision to buy jewellery as a store of value is entirely yours and at your own risk.

12. Warranty, buyback, exchange, repair and returns

All warranty, guarantee, certification, buyback, exchange, resizing, repair, return and refund terms are offered by, and enforceable only against, the individual jeweller. We offer none of them and are not a guarantor, surety or co-obligor. Obtain them in writing on the invoice before paying.

13. Enquiries, appointments and communications

Submitting an enquiry or requesting an appointment through the Platform creates no obligation on any jeweller to respond, to honour a listed price, to hold stock, or to keep an appointment. We do not guarantee delivery, timeliness or a reply, and we are not responsible for what is said or promised in any conversation, call, WhatsApp message or meeting that follows.

14. Maps, distances and location

Map pins, distances, “near me” results, travel directions and locality boundaries come from third-party mapping and geocoding services and from co-ordinates entered by jewellers. They are approximate and can be wrong. Do not rely on them for navigation-critical decisions, and follow real-world road signs and conditions.

15. Fraud awareness

Please protect yourself:

  • Never share your OTP, PIN, CVV or banking password with anyone, including anyone claiming to be from GoldJewellers. We will never ask for them.

  • We never ask you to pay a booking amount, token, deposit, registration fee or “GST clearance” to receive an offer, a prize or a discount.

  • Treat prices dramatically below market rate, pressure to pay immediately, and requests to pay into a personal account as red flags.

  • Deal at the jeweller's registered business premises, pay through traceable methods, and always take a GST invoice.

  • Report suspicious listings or messages to support@goldjewellers.in, and report financial fraud to the national cyber-crime helpline 1930 or at cybercrime.gov.in.

16. Third-party links, advertising and sponsored content

The Platform links to jeweller websites, social profiles, WhatsApp, dialler apps, map applications and payment pages we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, security, availability or practices, and inclusion of a link is not an endorsement. Advertisements and sponsored placements are supplied by advertisers; we do not vouch for their claims, and your dealings with an advertiser are solely between you and them.

17. Automated processing, translations and errors

Parts of the Platform use automated systems — search relevance, image processing, bulk import of listings, duplicate detection, category suggestion, machine translation and automated summarisation. These can produce mistakes, mislabelled categories, wrong translations or odd results. Despite reasonable care, the Platform may contain typographical errors, broken images, stale data or technical faults. We reserve the right to correct any error, and to change, suspend or remove any content, at any time and without notice or liability.

18. Availability of the Platform

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free operation, nor that defects will be corrected, nor that the Platform is free of viruses or harmful components. Your use is at your own risk, and you are responsible for your own device security and data backups.

19. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WIZCODER AI LABS PRIVATE LIMITED, its directors, officers, employees, agents and licensors accept no liability for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive — arising out of or connected with your use of, or reliance on, the Platform or anything on it. This expressly includes loss arising from an inaccurate listing or price, a defective, misdescribed, under-karat or non-hallmarked article, a disputed or incorrect grading certificate, a jeweller's refusal to honour any promise, non-delivery, fraud by a third party, or any dispute between you and a jeweller.

Your relationship with any jeweller is yours alone, and your sole remedy in any such dispute is against that jeweller. The overall limits and carve-outs in section 11 of our https://goldjewellers.in/policies/terms-and-conditions apply here too. Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

20. Report an inaccurate or unlawful listing

Found something wrong — a closed shop, a wrong number, a misleading claim, a stolen photograph, a fake review, or a listing of your own business you never authorised? Tell us, and we will look into it.

Write to support@goldjewellers.in with the listing URL, what is wrong, and any evidence you have. We acknowledge within 24 hours and act within 15 days. Full contact details for our Grievance Officer are in section 17 of our https://goldjewellers.in/policies/privacy-policy.

21. Changes to this Disclaimer

We may update this Disclaimer at any time. The version and effective date at the top always reflect the current version, and your continued use of the Platform after an update means you accept it.
