GoldJewellers operates as a platform connecting consumers with verified jewellers. We facilitate the discovery and inquiry process but are not a direct seller of jewellery products. All purchases are made directly between you and the respective jeweller.

Each jeweller on our platform maintains their own return and refund policies. These policies may vary based on:

  • Type of jewellery (gold, diamond, silver)
  • Whether the piece is customized or ready-made
  • Payment method used
  • Time since purchase

We strongly recommend reviewing the jeweller's return policy on their profile page or asking them directly before making a purchase.

Gold Buyback

Many jewellers offer buyback at current gold rate minus making charges. Terms vary by jeweller.

Custom Orders

Customized or made-to-order pieces typically cannot be returned or refunded.

Making Charges

Making charges are generally non-refundable even in exchange scenarios.

4. Platform Services Refunds

For any platform-related payments (if applicable), such as subscription services for jewellers:

  • Subscription fees may be refunded within 7 days of purchase if no services have been used
  • Prorated refunds may be available for unused subscription periods

  4. While we cannot force refunds, we can remove jewellers who consistently violate fair practices

To facilitate any return or refund, always keep:

  • Original purchase invoice
  • BIS Hallmark certificate
  • Any warranty cards provided
  • Product packaging and tags
  • Communication records with the jeweller

7. Consumer Rights

As a consumer in India, you are protected under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. This includes:

  • Right to receive goods of acceptable quality
  • Right to fair treatment and redressal
