How to Measure Your Ring Size

Method 1: Using a String

  1. 1Cut a thin strip of paper or string
  2. 2Wrap it around the base of your finger
  3. 3Mark where the paper/string overlaps
  4. 4Measure the length in millimeters
  5. 5Use the circumference column in the chart below

Method 2: Using an Existing Ring

  1. 1Find a ring that fits the intended finger well
  2. 2Place the ring on a ruler
  3. 3Measure the inside diameter in millimeters
  4. 4Use the diameter column in the chart below
Tip: Measure at the end of the day when fingers are largest. Avoid measuring when hands are cold as fingers shrink in cold weather.

How to Measure Your Bangle Size

Closed Fist Method (Most Accurate)

  1. 1Close your hand into a fist, tucking your thumb under your fingers
  2. 2Measure the widest part of your closed fist with a measuring tape
  3. 3Note the circumference in millimeters
  4. 4Divide by 3.14 to get the diameter
  5. 5Match with the chart below for your bangle size
